The first time I went to Populi, it kind of surprise me that this place has a fancy atmosphere. Since I came by 4 in the evening, I thought I'll order one of the manual brew coffee and a dessert but unfortunately the Barista is not present then. I ordered bintang radler but it is sold out. so I ordered panna cotta baileys and lychee flavored beer.A sip of the lychee flavored beer and I am not satisfied. It taste too sweet.The panna cotta baileys? well, the panna cotta is fine. There's a hint of coffee and I like the texture as well. But I can't taste the baileys at all. whether they are using real baileys or just the essence, there still should be a subtle taste and scent of baileys.

Ordered penne pesto and rissoto.One thing i must admit, They have the best penne pesto! While the Rissoto was okay, need a little more salt though.Reasonable price with great food :) Will surely come back.

Jujur sih, kecewa banget disini. Kenapa? Karena disini gue dan 8 temen gue lainnya udh pesen makanan dari jam 8. Dan minuman baru dateng itu setengah jam setelah pesan, dan itu pun cuman 2 minuman aja yang baru dateng. Makanan semuanya dtg 45 menit sampe 1 jam lebih baru dtg. Dan parahnya ada hot tea itu datengnya sejam, padahal isinya cuman air panas sama teh seduh. Doang tp lamaaa nyaa sejam buat rebus aer doang -..-

Good rate because of this place's ambiance (and desserts). A nice place in Karawaci just to chitchat and have some dessert. I spent about 3 hours here, talking to a friend. It wasn't crowded in the evening, the server was nice, dessert was good, the air condition is cool enough, and it is a nice place! For the main courses, i personally do not satisfied as the service is quite slow and the food come in a quite small portion (tastes okay though, but not a-ma-zing-ly great). I find it quite pricey too.

First review and first time came here along the way from Jakarta just to watch @saxxinthecity .. First impression, they need more than 30 mins only to serve mineral water in a bottle. When I asked, the server said "we are still make it. Please be patient" It's just a bottle of water. They don't need to make it, just bring it 😁 Next, I ordered half baby chicken with garlic rice. The rice doesn't taste garlic at all, the sauce is a little bit salty. Hubby ordered chicken balinese, the taste is so so. We would like to add more lite bite which is truffle fries and it never showed up until the music is finish, so we cancelled. However, ambience is okay, nice place. The owner, David, he is really a nice guy. They need to keep up the good service and good food otherwise, the customer never coming back again.
