I've often hangout here to the point of the waiter no longer ask me whether or not I'm going to order a glass of soda susu.Apparently there's also a screening room that often turn into makeshift praying room.AMBIENCEIf you've yet to be here, there are two types of ambience depending on floor: a bright but bland first floor, or cozy but dim (often smoke-heavy) on the second - the more Insta-able one. And yes, there are literally THOUSANDS of books, although some of the more notable ones are limited to familiar patrons.DELICACYI'll stick to my frequent meals since I'm already familiar with its consistency.Onion ringsJust your average deep-fried rings of onion. That's all.Spaghetti agli olioThe pasta is grocery story special, but you'll soon forgive how the other ingredients are able to deliver the right spiciness and freshness. While not the best in the South Jakarta, it's worth a try.Nasi goreng seafoodWell, if you ever have breakfast at four star hotels, then it shouldn't take a chef's tongue to notice the softer rice and less oily texture, sending a milder taste to your taste buds unlike those from street vendors. Since I'm always ask for half-cooked egg, too bad the cook often overdone it.Hot cappuccinoThe coffee is unmistakably a cappuccino: sweet and creamy. It's basic, not a bad thing but not something to be write home about. Lovely aroma, though.Es soda susuA plain soda with condensed milk. Self-explanatory, really.SERVICEThe waiters are all chill and won't ruin your day. But for the love of G-Dragon, change the playlist! I can't fathom why it's always that Harry Styles' song that plays at around 9.30 PM - different musical styles won't hurt as long as it's not some artists with tree branches as its font.PRICEWhile not really cheap, it's not prohibitively expensive for proletariats like me. What you pay is more for ambience and crap ton of books.TL;DRThe Reading Room is one cozy spot (second floor) with average food and okay price. It's a place that read-y to satisfy bibliophile in you.

The ambience me likey, a bit dim tho we weren't really reading here. The AC is warm at noon, the evening is better. The food a bit pricey and so so. But the deal breaker was, we were fiddling around with our phone and find this tv wifi casting that is connected with their tv(main source of music cafe background). We play around playing just one song (a frank ocean's one), a minute later the staff change it again and look over our table with such judgmental pair of eyes and moving mouth, most likely cursing. Man we were irked.Oh the toilet doesn't smell which is a big plus.

aaaaaa suka banget sama tempatnya. tenang, dingin, nyaman. enak banget buat kerja, buat baca buku sambil makan❤️ jangan khawatir, bagi kalian yang suka banget membaca. disana banyak banget buku yang bisa kalian pinjam buat baca. tapi setelah kalian keluar atau hendak pulang. jangan lupa dibalikin ke tempat semula iya luv😊🌈

Expected the place to be comfy and quiet, but maybe it was not the right time for me to come. It was crowded even we found a hard time to park our car. The waffle tastes bland and they put a very small amount of ice cream for the waffle. Expected better than what they served.

Tempat bersembunyi dari kegilaan jakarta.Bagi pecinta buku buku klasik ,novel , dll tempat ini sangat cocok untuk di datangi .Untuk haga sangat terjangkau

Dulu pernah kesini sekitar 2016 dan kondisinya beda sama yang sekarang. Dulu lebih enak dan bersih. Sekarang entah tempatnya jadi kurang bersih dan buku2nya ga rapi dan debuan termasuk yang di dalam lemari jujur jadi mempengaruhi nafsu makan (at least for me). Toiletnya juga kurang bersih. Makanannya so so, pesen nasgor seafood cuma seafoodnya dapet 1 udang. Yes 1. SATU😂😂😂 kayaknya ga bisa sih dibilang nasgor seafood. Nasgor dan kentang gorengnya kayak kebanyakan mecinnya. Kesini utk belajar suasannya cukup mendukung ga terlalu rame org ngobrol.

Ambiencenya enak kalau dibagian lantai 2, sayang lantai 2 itu smoking area jadi harus siap agak2 bengek dikit. Bukunya banyakkk..kalo cari tempat buat nongki sm pacar enakkk pas suasananya, tapi kalo sm temen better try another place karena tempatnya syahdu gt, jd kasian yg lain kalo berisik. Banyak tempat duduk sofa kalo diatas (bagi pecinta sofa) untuk menu sendiri aku kasih nilai 3.5 dari 5 soalnya aku pesen minuman hot chocolate & ice latte rasanya biasa aja (not bad) kalo makanan kita gapesen karena sudah kenyang. Pelayan cepat tanggap tapi kasirnya agak kurang ramah. Overall tempat ini cocok buat kalian yg mau santai pulang kerja sama pasangan.

Oke, disini tempatnya cukup lumayan. Kurangnya cuma tukang parkirnya kurang ajar. Plis tukang parkirnya diganti aja. Bikin males kesini. Perkara mobil ga lurus aja bentak customer mau masuk. Tolong ya diganti aja tuh tukang parkir!

Dari luar sih mantap tapi bagian parkirnya kurang terawat ya, dalamnya asik banget, acnya juga dingin dan dibagian atas itu smoking room. Banyak juga buku-buku yang bisa kalian baca, overall tempatnya nyaman dan asik sih cuman menu makanannya dikit banget loh.Terus harganya emang menengah keataslah, cuman pelayanannya agak lama sih, yang aku pesan itu waffle dan siomay dan menurut saya pribadi itu enak, dan sebanding dengan harganyalah.

Pros: wifi kenceng, stabilAmbiencenya sebenarnya enak, tetapi rokok yang dari lantai atas baunya sampai ke bawah.Kopinya (latte) not recommended, rasanya terlalu watery dan sangat mahal untuk kopi seperti itu.
