Having seen a picture of green tea cheese cake from Dairy Tale's instagram sold in Cubbyhole, hubby and I decided to check out on this place one Saturday. Unfortunately, upon our arrival, the waitress said the cake was sold out. Sigh. However, they still have the Oreo Cheese Cake, so we ordered it for dessert, along with Risoles Sri Langka for the appetizer, Nasi Ayam Betutu and Angel Hair prawns for the mains, and hot chocolate for the drinks. While waiting for our food, we took the time to admire the restaurant's interior. The indoor, shaped like an L, was for the nonsmokers. It's walls adorned with drawings of elephant and colorful patterns, suits the restaurant's antique, ethnic decoration. Natural lighting comes from the glass doors that separates the outdoor seating for the smokers and the indoors. Okay, without further due, let's talk about the food:1. Nasi Ayam BetutuThis was hubby's choice, and he said it was okay. I tasted the sate lilit, pretty good, but it was the sambal matah that caught my attention. It was quite spicy and nicely seasoned. 2. Angel Hair Prawns First of all, the portion could use a bit more pasta. The portion was small, not as much as I would like to, especially since angel hairs are pasta with fine texture, and quite thin compared to other pastas. The shrimp was cooked well, but I really do think the whole dish need more seasoning. Perhaps more garlic or something. All I can taste was the olive oil. I had to add the parmesan and chilli flakes just to make the dish more lively. 3. Risoles Sri LangkaThis one was good. It tasted a bit like samosas, only much lighter. The minced meat was quite generous, and it was tasty, we really liked it. I even brought some leftovers home, and the risoles still tasted good when served cold. 4. Oreo Cheese CakeTo tell the truth, I forgot the exact taste. Whether it was more sweet or more creamy than the Oreo Cheese Cakes I have tasted in other places. However, I do remember it was pretty delicious. To think again, maybe it was more sweet than the ones I have eaten, but it was okay. I still hope when I come to this place again I can order the matcha cheese cake. 5. Hot Chocolate IT. WAS. DELICIOUS! Yesss. Just like what I've always imagined a hot chocolate would be. Thick, densed, velvety melting chocolate. Oh it was heaven! Served hot, I was enjoying every spoonful of chocolate I was scooping into my mouth. Perfect blend of bittersweet taste. Hot, thick, delicious. Oh, you just gotta try it. Trust me. Voila, that's it. Oh, they also have a small shop that sells trinkets, many kinds of dried food. You can also perform your prayers here. They have a room for that. Not special, but yeah, okay. Service was excellent. Very polite and friendly waiter and waitress. We will come here again, definitely.

So glad I found a new place serving quite a nice food in a nice ambience nearby my office. I was quite taken aback by their nice Chicken Curry, which was very simple, light, but memorable. The after taste of the curry was quite strong and you would only tell after tasting the lightness of the curry soup. Their Nasi Bumbu Bali was also quite nice. Each sidedish was simple but has a strong taste. The light tea (Pekko) from Pakistan complimented the dining experience. For the dessert, I ordered the brownie which they recommended. Yet, I honestly think there was nothing special about it. Especially they put a lot of things as a side dish: cherry, whipped cream, chocolate sauce and vanilla ice cream. I personally like a simple brownies that speaks for itself, without too much intervention. This one was a bit too sweet for my taste, but quite warm and comforting. I was just hoping it would be combined with savoury ingredients like cream cheese or peanut butter.Overall, it was a nice experience, I would definitely come back for more.

This place i can call as hidden gem at Senopati. Among jakarta's hypest cafes along the street, this place hidden in a quite neat place with a small hidden door for the entry. But once you enter, you will instantly fall in love with the ambience, its quiet and hommy at the same time. Big windows, artistic with warm colour for tables and chairs, and very very good music. You will fall in love instantly. Plus, the price is very friendly. Eventhough i can say, the food just so-so. But i will definitely come again!

Tempatnya agak terpencil dan ga gitu keliatan sign nya, jadi harus pelan2 pas udah deket. Kali ini kita dateng parkirannya cukup sepi.Disini ada semi outdoor dan indoor, jadi bisa buat smoking. Pelayanannya cukup lambat tapi tetap ramah.Kali ini kita pesen:1. Angel Hair Prawns, bentuk pasta menyerupai spageti tapi diameternya lebih kecil, dimasak aglio olio ditambah tomat jadi rasanya asem dan terlalu oily. lebih pas disebut angel hair shrimp karena udangnya kecil2.2. Nasi Goreng Kampung, nasi goreng ayam telur, dengan topping tambahan ayam, telur mata sapi, kerupuk dan salad. Rasanya enak dan gurih.Kekurangan disini rasa makanannya standard aja, ga ada something special dan pelayanannya pun lambat.Enaknya disini tempatnya cukup sepi jadi bisa ngobrol tanpa keberisikan sekitar.

Cozy tempatnya, bisa berjam2 nongkrong + ngecas n wifi. Pelayanan cepat, ramah dan pkkya the best banget. Terutama pelayan yg namanya bro fahri tuh hahaha friendly abis. The bez lah pkknya. Dr pelanggan yg kmrn (fdhl icha fidi n dimas)

Cozy & comfy place. Harganya ya rata2lah gak terlalu mahal dan gak terlalu murah. Rasanya enak, tadi sih pesen pasta mushroom gitu sama peach iced tea. Tapi untuk serving makanannya agak sedikit lama. Overall goooood!

Ini tempat yang dulunya rumah makan Thailand, tapi lupa namanya. Pas gw dateng lagi ada yg ngerayain ulang tahun di indoor. Terus spot indoor yg lain nggak terlalu nyaman, kalo buat gw sih kursi kayunya terlalu tegak aja gitu. Hehehe. Akhirnya gw pilih outdoor, itupun kurang nyaman karena suara musiknya kenceng banget, minta dikecilin tapi kata waiternya nggak bisa karena default. Buat ngobrol jd ky harus teriak. Gw ngopi sih, tapi rasanya kurang gitu. Choco brownie nya lumayan aja pake es krim.

Tempatnya tidak terlalu besar, interiornya juga cukup retro karena banyak koleksi barang antik . Ruangannya terbagi indoor dan outdoornya yang cukup cozy. Resto ini dimiliki oleh pasangan suami istri dengan kewarganegaraan Srilanka dan Indonesia,  jadi menu makanan disini menjadi sangat eksotik karena perpaduan taste dari kedua negara.Saya pesan : *Nasi Goreng Kampoeng 45k – Nasi gorengnya cukup tasty  dengan topping  sunny side up dan side dish ayam suwir dan kerupuk. Not bad at all.*Risoles Sri Lanka 35k – rasanya enak banget nih, isinya mirip2 dengan rasa samosa.Recommended*Court Lodge Pekoe 35 k – The asal Srilanka ini rasanya enak banget, dan cukup light. Terasa mirip2 dengan teh Dilmah yang memang berasal dari Srilanka.Masih penasaran dengan nasi ayam betutunya deh dan juga menu2 lainnya, pasti akan balik lagi.
