I just found out that Taipan is featured in Delicious Dim Sum Collection by website. Yes, I couldn't agree more! Really agree with it. I have come several times to Taipan since a long time ago. Although Taipan is located in the sixth floor in WTC Mangga Dua, which is a huge and wide building, a lot of people still love to come here. And for more information, in a public holiday, don't get shocked if you see a lot of people has come and waited here to be seated even if the restaurant hasn't opened yet!Since I have come here to have a dimsum for breakfast, I've known that they offer variants of dimsum which most of them are delicious. I recommend this place to have a dimsum. I also heard that Taipan offers All U Can Eat ,too! I've never tried it before, but I think I would like to try it someday :D For the place and ambience, I suggest it's better to do redecoration or renovation since I saw their wall paint color was slowly fading in order to make people more comfortable.

This time is Chinese New Year's eve dinner with family. The restaurant located inside WTC Mangga Dua. It's a quite old building and do so with the restaurant. Some spot has been damaged and need some renovation.We ordered various seafood menu. All was great, especially with its abalone was fresh and tasty. It was worth to try. Enjoy & Gong Xi Fa Cai.

It's been many many many many years since the last time i have been hereAnd all i can say is, the dim sum is not as great as i rememberSiao May, feels like im eating something from the frozen food sectionXiao Lung Pao is not badRice Cake is goodPork Ribs is nothing specialHakao, the shrimp does not taste sweet as they suppose to be This place has lost its touch on making good dim sum

Best restaurant for dim sum in town! Siomay, lo mai kai sama bakpau telur asin nya paling enakkk.. And talas goreng as well! Last but not least chicken pie nya yg selalu sold out di atas jam 1 siang di hari minggu.

My favorite dimsum restaurant since I was a kid! Love their dimsum a lot! The all you can is best and so cheap! I mean like you can eat haisom, scallop, shark's fin, (and other luxurious food) with a reasonable price. Love their udang gandum, shiu mai, har kao, talas goreng, onde goreng, chicken porridge with century egg and many more!

I have to queue for quite a long time and the result is satisfying. The chicken feet is one of the best! But ohh a bit too overpriced for me and i think they put a lotssss of MSG. Because u can feel the drought aftertaste.

Always reminds me of my childhood days. This is the place we are most likely ended up in every Sunday after church. Nowadays there is so many dimsum or yum cha resto in town. But back in those days, their food is my comfort on family day Sunday.

Its a great place for dimsum-ing 😋.My most favourite salted egg bun is in here. You definitely have to order that one. The place is so spacious too.. You dont have to worry not getting a table here.

My favorite dim sum place without a doubt! Been here plenty of times without even getting bored because their varieties of menu. Haven't taste any bad food even once. The place is also very spacious, with fast and nice service to top things up. Very very recommended! Oh and my favorite were the salted egg bun, and also their shao long bao, heaven!

It was a good place for dimsum for me...but it seemed currently there are many better places than it. Taipan was too noisy now, the restroom was unclean and stinky.
