Where to begin??? First of all don't call yourselves a peruvian restaurant as only the names of some of the dishes were peruvian but not the cooking, flavor or basic taste profile.. is very very very sad that for a lot of Indonesians this is the first and probably only exposure to one of the best cuisines in the world because nothing here is peruvian or taste as something peruvian.... Whatever that crispy calamari thing is..for the love of God don't call it ceviche... because is not. The lomo saltado... well looks like whoever owns the restaurant never taste a lomo salteado and don't know the basics on how to cook it... the pisco sour dont have pisco in it.... Really, "adaptation " to "fit" the local palate is somehow understandable but this one in one hand is not adaptation (they are simply another dish) and second... what is the purpose of an ethnic restaurant if not to expose to the real flavor of that country?A total disaster in a sense of an ethnical culinary experience and an insult to one of the best cuisines in the world... Will not talk about the facilities or service in detail bit also bad.... For the people that read this... THIS IS NOT HOW PERUVIAN CUISINE TASTE... PLEASE DON'T CREATED YOUR OPINION ABOUT PERUVIAN CUISINE BASE ON WHAT YOU TASTE HERE....

Order churros with vanilla ice cream utk rasanya lumayan. Utk minumannya gue order banana berry milkshake kalo gak salah, kurang enak sih tp seger. Gue nyobain orderan tmn gue mocktails gtu menurut gue kurang enak hehe Ruangannya agak gelap ya tp nyaman sih sofa nya hehe betah lama2 disana soalnya ruangannya kyk kedap suara gtu

Gotta admit, it taste so good!!!! Pesan Pollo A La Brasa, slow roasted Peruvian spiced chicken quarter, dengan side dish fresh greens salad, cilantro butter rice, dan aji verde peruvian green chili sauce.Ayam yang dipanggang merata dengan bumbu dan rempah, terasa gurih dan sedikit spicy. Aji verde sendiri adalah sauce asal Peru berwarna hijau muda yang bahan utamanya dari green chili, cilantro (ketumbar), garlic dan aioli (jenis mayones asal Provence, France). Dari penjabaran bahan utama itu mungkin nggak kepikiran kaya apa rasanya, well.. agak susah dijelaskan, lebih baik coba sendiri 😁Pavela sendiri tempatnya agak remang2 dan kecil, jd kalo ngobrol sama temen, kayanya sampe 2 meja di sebelah masih kedengeran. Pelayanan juga cepet disini, kisaran 10-15 menit makanan udah dateng.Must try!A.G.

Tempat ini unik banget karena menyajikan makanan Peru yang pastinya belum begitu terbiasa di lidah. Tapi pada dasarnya, makanan Peru dipengaruhi oleh berbagai culture, seperti Spanyol, China, atau Jepang. Penasaran ingin mencoba?

Was directly attracted to the Pollo a la Brasa because it reminded me of Los Pollos Hermanos, Gus Fring, if you know what I mean 😆 The salad, yuca frita, butter rice, chicken and aji verde was all great! Boyfriend had the Pollo Saltado which was also great! 10/10 would definitely come back 👍

Resto Peruvian di PIM ini terbilang agak agak bikin kepo tapi I had to lower my expectations from the experience😃First, rasanya not bad. Pesan satu tapas bernama something Limena, yang adalah mashed potato topped with minced chicken and I believe cilantro sauce. Lalu satu main yaitu Pollo Saltado.Tapas was good, main so so.Buttered rice dengan ayam sauteé yang berempah. I'll skip the beverages karena so so banget, strawberry ice tea bahkan cuma pake syrup with no real fruits.Lalu saya ga ngerti apa ada yang salah dengan interiornya (yang sama sekali gak Peruvian, but anyway) atau gimana. One of the waitress tak sengaja menabrak kursi saya ketika makan. Saya lalu sadar bahwa hallway cukup sempit. Bahkan jarak table saya dengan pengunjung sebelah hanya sejengkal. Jadi cukup terganggu dan ga bisa kalo anda mau dinner yang tenang dan private.Yang paling mengecewakan... Churrosnya. Bon Bon Churros namanya di menu. It's bad. It's dense, hard to chew and you can taste the floury dough seakan belum fully cooked, plus bentuknya gak indah alias banyak yg rusak. Entah bikinnya buru buru atau kurang jago. Padahal as in Peruvian food, Churros jadi salah satu hidangan yang biasanya patut dijadikan.

I love Beso de Moza! Ke sini sebenarnya memang cuma ingin dessert-nya aja. Kalo untuk main dish overall yummy semua. Tempatnya nyaman untuk ngobrol sama teman-teman. Next time bakal ke sini lagi :)

Pavela is a perfect place for people who haven't been to Peru like me. The food is undeniably unique and very surprising to me that Peruvian food has rice as one of the main course. Not too spicy, not too sour, not too sweet. All flavors are evenly combined in one dish. I think Pavela has succeeded in becoming a Peruvian food represent.

Finally we found an interesting place at Pondok Indah Mall Street Gallery. Pavela offers peruvian cuisine which mostly influenced from Spanish. The menu used chicken as its base meat. We tried appetizer called Causa Limena which basically a chicken salad on top of potato bed in mini bites. And we got free casava fries, thank you so much. We ordered two main courses: Anticucho (grilled chicken satay) and Chicharron de Pollo (crispy chicken breast with salsa sauce). Both to our likings, the satay is so good, best to order spicy and the salsa sauce is so good, just the right combination between sweet and sour. We also like the rice, it's a combination of rice and corn. We can taste the corn in the rice without actually eating the corn. For desserts, we opt for churros, and we like it better than Applebee's, at least it got body. Anyhow it's a very worthy experience. Will definitely come back to try the chicken wings, crunchy calamari, and fried rice.

anticucho (85k ++)at first bite the chicken was well marinated. but after a few more bites, it was over marinated. the chicken was dry too. the cilantro butter rice could do so much more.pollo a la brasa (95++)the cilantro sauce was the only good thing about the dish. oh and the portion was quite big too.chiccaron de pollo (80++)this is your average fried chicken breast with mayo sauce and salsa. as my friend would describe it, 'this is the kind of meal you would find in your university's canteen'. pavela wings (55++)while the chicken was quite good (if any restaurant messed up a chicken wing, they should close immediately), it was too greasy and oily.to sum it up, the only good thing about this place is the huge portion.
