It’s been a while since my first visit to Katsura and before i haven’t join website so Yesterday I went back and took some pictures for review. My impression with Katsura is always elegant, high class, very nice atmosphere and ambience. Very important for people to have first impression once you entered any restaurant. You must feel comfortable first before orderinf the food. Very nice gesture and welcoming the guest also very important in a restaurant like this. The sepcial from Katsura are: ❤️ Specially “Katsura” Sukiyaki 5 💫Price: 948K (Set Course B) The starters: 6 little bowl of appeti( zerand bowl of mashed potato salad and chawan mushi. The main course Sukiyaki comes with a bowl of rice and Miso Soup. The sukiyaki meat itself already thin but the Aust Wagyu makes it more perfect. It’s very soft and melted in your mouth. Set Menu B has extra Grilled Imported Salmon The Dessert are a glass of fruit vanilla pudding and a glass of vanilla yoghurt (really tastes like Sour Sally 😆) which is very nice 👍 ❤️ Specially “Katsura” Shabu-Shabu 5 💫Price: 1.740K ( Set Course B) It’s like the set menu above but i choose the” Katsura special Meat 100gr”you get like 5 pcs special wagyu beef 🥩 with veggies. ❤️ Specially “Katsura” Teppanyaki 5 💫 Price: 1.188K ( Set Course B) You can choose to have Teppanyaki being cooked on the table or cooked in the kitchen. I choose to cooked ❤️ Gindara teriyaki Gozen 5 💫Price: 388K set menuSpecial imported Gindara with Teriyaki sauce with Miso Soup and fragrant Terabas Japanese Rice. Very recommendedEverything is perfect as it should be. Bravo Katsura for giving a fine dining japanese restaurant.

Had the lunch set which is good value for money. They have quite a number of choices and I went with the ramen set with beef. Credit must be given to the egg which was done wonderfully; even better than many of the ramen specialty shops.The lunch set comes along with a small bowl of chawanmushi, two pieces of chicken karage and gyoza. Gyoza had a good bite to it with the skin at the right thickness and good ratio of meat.Dessert was a really tiny cute bowl of yogurt. Lunch set costs 167K after the service charge and gst. Would try the beef patty next time.

had lunch today here.. we ordered lunch package set which has many variation dishes and price is okay.. first set is shoyu ramen with beef (complete with gyoza, chicken karaage, salad and cawan mushi).. other is tempura udon set.. ramen is good..

The place's Japanese vibe is strong. All guests are greeted by kimono-wearing-waitress at the front door. Me and my friends booked one of the private room and it's nice for lunch/dinner meeting. I ordered Wagyu Hamburg Steak with Foie Gras, my friends ordered Teriyaki Wagyu Steak Gozen, Salmon Teriyaki Steak, Mushroom something steak. And we also ordered salmon sashimi, salmon salad, shrimp tempura, crispy salmon skin roll, and unagi roll.They provided small chocolate pudding for tajil. It was bland 😅.Onto the food, my wagyu hamburg steak was decent, juicy and soft, and the foie gras added some kick to the meat flavor. The teriyaki wagyu steak was not bad, well-marinated but not as soft as i expected. Salmon sashimi and salmon salad felt fresh but nothing special. This also applied to the sushi. Unagi sushi had very thin sliced unagi, even sushi tei's slices are better with cheaper price 😂.Crispy salmon skin roll just okay.For dessert we chose 3 kinds of mochi ice cream, matcha, ogura and nutella. They didnt put it on the menu tho, so you got to ask the waitress for this. But again I was disappointed coz the texture of the mochi was not bouncy enough and the matcha and ogura ice cream were so bland. The nuttela has the best ice cream but even that not that special.One thing that really put me off is the price! The shabu-shabu or sukiyaki package per pax started from 600k.. per PAX! I mean, I'd rather pay All You Can Eat at any Hotel Mulia restaurant for that price. Because really, the steak at The Cafe Hotel Mulia Ayce buffet taste way better than here.

The food was overpriced and they have the worst service ive ever experienced in my life. Halfway through the teppanyaki course meal we found a mouse in our private room, the waitress left the room without doing/ saying anything. Didnt even acknowledge what just happened and didnt gave any kind of apology. LOL. Food was actually good but the quality and cleanliness of the food is questionable. For sure will not come back here again
