Hari pertama datang tanpa booking, sayangnya full booked, jadilah booking dulu untuk hari berikutnya. Sampai di swept away jam 5.30 pm which is terlalu dini buat dinner. Tp kita dapet table di pinggir sungai, lumayan nih dateng agak dini dapet table yg ok. Pelayannya ramah, tiap makanan ditanya rasanya enak atau engga dan helpful selalu ramah pas kita minta tolong fotoin. Pesen wagyu dan deep fried duck. Wagyunya biasa aja, bebeknya lumaya enak. Ngabisin kocek yg lumayan.

Such a romantic setting- dim lights, flowing river, lights on the river, tables on the river, heart shaped lights- terrestrial paradise! This chimerical restaurants charm is further enhanced by blue-chip staff that ensure you have a memorable time. The Food tastes exquisite and looks enchanting too. Perfect honeymooners destination or for special occasions like popping the big question! Possibilities to creating unforgettable memories here are endless.

The location of this place is completely kickass! This is a dinner place, so visit after 7. You are received at the reception and taken to the restaurant in a 10 minute buggy ride. Reserving a table is highly recommended as you most likely won’t get a table for walk-in, unless maybe you get there before 7. Once you enter the restaurant, it’s an altogether different experience. Located by the bank of a stream, amid the forests of Ubud. They lit up the place with candles all over surrounding rocks and the restaurant. The sound of flowing water, amid the candle glow is a setup for a perfect date. Food is aimed to provide a fine dining experience. We choose to go for Indonesian cuisines. Ordered the signature Nasi Goreng, with Gadu Gadu and chilled lobster white cooked chicken. In terms of taste, I would give a 4/5; but then again I tried local food which may not appeal my palate as much. The service is extremely hospitable, with the restaurant manager having a good 5 minute conversation to ensure that we were having a good time. We left the place with memories which shall stick for a long time!

Very nice place for romantic dinner with river view.. Pas ksini berdua utk lunch, nyoba bebek samaya ueenaak bangeth bumbunya kena di lidah rasanya oke namun menurutku kurang garing.. Hehe sebagai penyuka bebek garing.. Dipadu dengan es jeruk nipis wah kena bangeth segernya..Ambil tempat di tepi sungai sangat romatis kalo malem pastinya.. Kalo pas siang agak panas sih haha.. Kalo lunch baiknya ambil di gedung resto aja ada kipasnya.. Supervisor nya ramah loh siap memberi rekomendasi makanan apa yg enak.. Bisa request juga loh sama cheft nya 😊Oo iya ke restonya naik bugi siaap diantar dari receptionist..Mirna Nur Islamy

One of the most romantic places in Bali to have a lovely dinner. I would definitely recommend Swept Away at The Samaya, Ubud to anyone visiting. From their welcome onwards everything was just perfect. The Manager Mr. Putu and the wonderful team never rushed us at all despite the fact that they close at 10 and we were there till about 11. Their service is splendid and the food and view is to die for especially with those amazing affordable rates. Although the weather wasn't as expected, everything else was to perfection thanks to all at Swept Away. They lit lovely candles and even gave us a complimentary desert for our honeymoon, we will definitely be returning back when we visit bali again.

Its really difficult to write something about swept away because its beyond expectations. All things were awesome like Ambience, Food, Staff etc. The best thing that we had in UBUD was "SWEPT AWAY"Once we done with our dinner their chef come to our table & had good interaction with him.Perfect!!!

Amazing place to have a restaurant right next to a river. The day we visited it was pouring down with rain but that didn’t detract from the experience. Both the food & service was excellent. Well worth going to

The ambience, hospitality, and food completely swept us away. This is the only restaurant I’ve been to that checks every box on one list.I’m a flight attendant and travel for a living; different restaurants are a big part of my everyday life but this one left a lasting impression. The hospitality and service provided by Ishtari and Ngurah (or Noorah) are unrivalled. Words are insufficient to describe how accommodating and polite they have been to us. I cannot describe the joy the ambience brought to us. It is a memory that will last me a life time and for every visit to Bali, I will without a doubt have at least one meal at Swept away.The food was impeccable. We ordered a few drinks and pizza to start with. I was so impressed with the chicken pizza. The cheese had a lovely taste that took the pizza to a different level. The crust was thin and crispy.I recommend the ayam panggang, pepes gurami, and the chicken pizza. We even requested our server to pass on our compliments to the chef.They also have a selection of cocktails. The frozen margaritas and daiquiris are a must try.

Just got back from this amazing restaurant. From the very start of our journey both myself and husband were greeted with a very warm welcome. We had cocktails before the buggy arrived to take us to our table at the most beautiful restaurant down at the river side. All the staff are so welcoming nothing is too much trouble for them. Service and food were exceptional couldn't fault anything. Loved every second of every minute. This is a must.

Went here for dinner with my sister though surrounded with couples, but then this is very calm place. Food here was well prepared and appetising, loved every bite. Must visit : if you love non-veg !!
